The U.21 Hurlers under the stewardship of John Nevin aim to atone for the disappointment of last year’s one point loss to Kilkenny when neighbours Laois roll into town next Wednesday night. Recent reports are very positive and all signs emanating from the camp is that of steely determination to go a step, if not two or three, more than 2015.

Nevin is ably assisted by former colleague Robbie Foley and the wise heads of Tommy Corcoran & PJ Fox.

A strong showing is expected and a sizeable Carlow crowd at HQ to roar them home.
