The 2015 season throws in for the Carlow footballers tomorrow  Sunday at 2pm in Dr. Cullen Park as Turlough O’Brien’s reign begins against the students of UCD. A wave of optimism has spread across the County since the Carlow native took his position at the helm. A proud, passionate Carlow man, O’Brien will surely transmit the importance of playing for our County through to his players. While the O’Byrne Cup is not an accurate indicator of how our season will pan out, it is a chance for the Manager and his team to catch a first competitive glimpse of their players.
