GRANGE ON A ROLL

Grange 2Grange 1-11  Barrowhouse 0-10

Well done to the men from Killerig who along with St. Patrick’s, Tullow keep Carlow GAA’s Leinster hopes alive. In a game that was played in dreadfully inclement conditions, albeit unseasonably warm, Grange ground their way to victory. Barrowhouse from the Kildare/Laois border proved stubborn opposition for much of the game but the spirit of this Grange side was evident in the way they refused to accept anything less than victory. Bernard Horahan has his team fit and the players are obviously relishing the sojourn through Leinster’s best Junior opposition.

Having taken care of highly fancied Dublin opposition last time out, Grange were in no humour to allow the journey to end. A huge team performance, full of grit and determination now sees them on a roadtrip to Meath to take on Curraha. Well done to all, Carlow GAA is right behind you !!
