County Chairman Michael Meaney will hold court this evening as the annual Carlow Convention takes place in Éire Óg’s Clubhouse. A large crowd of Club delegates is expected to hear a review of the year almost past with County Secretary Ger Lennon also on hand to present the Convention Document. With the coffers in very decent order, due in no small measure to the shrewd management by County Treasurer Mick Byrne, the evening should pass without issue. Thanks to all County Board Officers, (Coisde Bainistí), for their hard work over the course of 2014 and we look forward with optimism to the new year.
