Coisde na nÓg Convention 2015

Coisde na nÓg’s annual convention takes place this evening in Myshall with all Club delegates invited to attend. After a very successful year, tonight is a chance to thank all those who ensured our underage players were looked after so well. 2015 promises to be a hugely special year for Coisde as Carlow hosts the U.14 Féile Peil na nÓg along with neighbours Wexford and Wicklow. Féile has grown into one of the most wonderful celebrations of everything good the GAA has to offer; friendship, hospitality and of course the games. Players from all over our island and indeed beyond will descend on Carlow next June for a weekend that will be remembered forever by all those involved. New competitions at U.16 level and a winter programme for U.13 and u.15 players will ensure that all our juvenile systems remain in rude health and that all those who wish to play will get an opportunity to do so. As always the GAA, both Club and County need people to give up their time and coach juvenile teams and while it can be hard to squeeze in time for such pursuits, working with children and watching them grow and develop their skills is something that money can’t buy so please GET INVOLVED !!
